Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Poly plastic folders with prongs and pockets will help my students stay organized and keep their work neat and accessible throughout the school year. These durable folders are ideal for holding important handouts, assignments, and reference materials in one place, reducing lost papers and helping students build responsible habits. The prongs allow for securely storing hole-punched materials, such as guided notes or weekly packets, while the pockets provide quick access to daily use items. Plastic sheet protectors will be used to preserve frequently used resources, such as classroom expectations, math reference sheets, or reading trackers, allowing students to reuse them without wear and tear. These protectors also support dry-erase markers, making them useful for interactive tasks like practicing math problems or editing writing. Pre-sharpened pencils are essential in maintaining a smooth workflow in the classroom—students can focus on learning without the distraction of constantly needing to sharpen their pencils, and it ensures everyone is prepared and ready to work from the start of each day. Together, these supplies will create a more organized, efficient, and supportive learning environment.
