My Project

This coming semester, my students will be engaged in online learning 50 minutes per day. Many of their assignments will include videos, podcasts, and music. Currently, I have about half of the headphones I need to ensure this can happen for them.

The overwhelming majority of my students have faced pervasive drug use, homelessness, teen parenting, food scarcity and/or violence.

With the gift of headphones, my students will better be able to lock in to their assignments, while shutting out their overcrowded classrooms. From this, they will have an increased chance of effective learning and information retention.
