This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These items will support my students learning in many ways. One example is their reading comprehension! They really struggle to read grade level books on their own. So in my classroom I support them by doing guided reading, choral reading, and frequent comprehension checks. My students really enjoy this activity.
They also need support in learning sight words and their alphabet sounds.
The sensory approach to learning is very effective and these materials will support their learning. Studies have found that if students our learning in a kinesthetic way this will be beneficial .I want to thank you in advance for you support.
