My students are eager to try and learn anything. They have millions of questions about everything they see and hear. They love to explore the room and check out the animals and their habitats.
They really love to do science experiments and pretend they are actual scientists.
I try to provide as many activities and situations as possible to introduce the new science standards. They need to be ready to learn science in a totally different way from when we were young.
My Project
Science is so important to all grades and all subjects in education. This conference will enable me to help my students soar. There are so many fabulous teachers and scientists presenting that I will be able to get my students to expand their knowledge ten fold.
This experience will help me get my kids to understand the new NGSS standards for teaching science.
The new science education is a complex version of problem-solving and questioning derived from the students. They must be able to develop their own questions and test their ideas to come up with reasonable solutions. I expect to learn from experts at this conference and bring these ideas home to my children.
