I teach precious children in kindergarten through third grade who have special needs at a Title 1 school in Texas. As a result, I am always trying to find ways to stimulate learning by making it interesting and fun.
I love teaching these children and witnessing the amazing transformation that happens as my students develop a love of learning.
My desire is to encourage my students, helping them achieve their greatest potential, and make a positive impact on their lives.
My Project
This opportunity will help me to grow professionally and become a better teacher to my students. I am excited about the chance to learn how to make my lessons more engaging and have my students desire to learn more!
I have a passion/calling for being an educator and I am always exploring new and innovating teaching methods that will give my students the ability to succeed.
During the conference I would get to spend two days with Hope and Wade King and the whole team of educators at Get Your Teach On as they share their passion for education and give their tips, best practices and teacher secrets to building a successful and engaging classroom.
This conference will help me become a better teacher for me to come back and challenge my students and leave them hungry for more learning.
It will help me be a better reading and financial literacy teacher.
