My Project
Hello,
My students are non-verbal with a range of disabilities, such as Autism and Multiple Disabilities.
These sensory toys will help soothe them when in distress, teach them how to better express themselves and help them have a better overall school experience. They are in kindergarten and navigating the world at this age is tough enough but compiled with a disability makes it that much harder on them. My aim is to create a classroom environment where they can continually flourish and find ways to sooth themselves while creating a nurturing learning environment.
