My Project

Purchasing magazines for my class will enhance and enrich my students' learning experience by providing them with current events happening around the world along with giving them a different perspective that complement their textbook.

Scholastic magazines will help my students develop critical thinking skills and enhance their understanding of different cultures and views points from around the world.

Additionally, the incorporation of these magazines in a Social Studies class will increase my students reading engagement and fluency.

Lastly, the incorporation of literary magazines will capture and appeal to all students including many reluctant readers who struggle with reading fluency.
