This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Before the School year started I opened a project to get my school library started. Now that we are over half way through the year I have come to know my students. So many of my students choose to never pick up a book. They read at lower levels and I know the only way to get them to read is by not only allowing the time in class to read but by offering the books that make them want to read. Now that I know my students, I would like to create a library that allows each student to select a book for SSR that is at their level and that sparks that love for reading within them.
