This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Five-year-olds can be impulsive and emotional. They are perfectly fine one moment and the next moment the world is coming to an end.

Five-year-olds need help learning to control their "inner dragon" by having a quiet place to retreat to help them learn to control their emotions in a healthy way.

A calming, cozy area will give my students the space needed to control their "inner dragon ". My students will be able to go to the calming area and take a minute to control their emotions.

Help me give my students the tools they need such a bean bag chairs, stuffed animals, and a rug to be well-adjusted adults.
