My Students

This is a self contained classroom, all students have a intellectual disability. Most of the students are not able to communicate verbally.

These students come from low income homes, they do not always get the supplies they need.

They all struggle with communicating and with everyday tasks. These students often get frustrated from not being able to understand and be understood. By having these resources things can be made to help them communicate.

My Project

These materials will be used to print pictures to help them communicate. They will use these daily. They will learn a new way of communication. The students will also use these to complete work and transitions in the classroom. By having them printed and laminated they can be used over and over.

This project will help because they will be able to communicate with others.

They will not be frustrated because they cannot be understood. They will be learning new things and be able to communicate like never before.
