My Project
Adding a sensory room to our school would create an inclusive environment that supports the diverse needs of all students, especially those with sensory processing challenges, autism, ADHD, or anxiety. The sensory path kit and sensory floor tiles will be a great way to prepare students for classroom activities and allow students to unwind and deescalate. The sensory wall frame will be for those students who need tactile interactions. A sensory room offers a safe, calming space where students can regulate their emotions, focus better, and improve their overall well-being. It would serve as a valuable resource for students who may become overwhelmed in traditional classroom settings, helping them to regain their composure and continue their learning. By incorporating a sensory room, we can foster a more supportive and empathetic school community, where every student has the opportunity to thrive both academically and emotionally.
