it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This fall, I will begin my journey as a first-year Kindergarten teacher at a Title I school where many of my students face daily challenges outside of the classroom. I want our classroom to be a safe, welcoming, and joyful space - a place where every child feels seen, supported, and empowered to dream big.
As a new teacher, I’m starting from scratch.
I’m working hard to collect essentials like books, learning games, STEM Bin essentials, cleaning wipes, and decor that reflects our diverse community. EVERY item will play a part in making our classroom feel more like a second home.
