This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are hard working young boys and girls transitioning into young ladies and young men. With the evolution of puberty in middle school comes the rise of smells.

Some of my students are unable to afford basic hygiene products, which is why I wanted to start a Hygiene closet or CARES closet at my school.

These items would allow my students to come and take these hygienic items as needed without having to feel embarrassed for asking.

This closet would be available to not only "MY" students but to any student in the building who is in need of these basic supplies.
