My Project
I will assign books to students based on reading ability in hopes of improving their reading skills. In between books, students will take reading fluency, comprehension, and writing assessments. Reed High School has limited resources, and our new program geared to special needs students requires books. Many of our high school students do not want their peers to know their reading levels, so they come to my office to get books. Unfortunately, I have very few novels on hand and would like to have additional genres for students to choose from.
