My Project

Our 7th and 8th-grade math classroom needs scientific calculators to enhance learning, improve engagement, and develop essential problem-solving skills. With your support, we can provide students with the tools they need to build confidence and excel in pre-algebra, algebra, and geometry.

Middle school math introduces complex concepts that prepare students for high school and beyond.

Scientific calculators will help 7th and 8th graders tackle multi-step equations, fractions, exponents, and statistics more efficiently. These tools will also ensure all students, regardless of their home resources, have equal opportunities to succeed. Additionally, having dedicated calculators in the classroom will allow students to engage hands-on with math instead of relying on computer-based calculators, reducing distractions and keeping them focused on learning.

The goals for this project are to:

Enhance Understanding: Calculators will help students grasp pre-algebra and algebra concepts more effectively.

Increase Engagement: Hands-on learning with calculators will make math more interactive and enjoyable.

Prepare for Success: Proficiency with scientific calculators is essential for standardized tests, high school math, and future careers.

Support Diverse Learners: These tools will accommodate different learning paces, benefiting both advanced students and those needing additional support.

Our 7th and 8th graders are hardworking, determined, and eager to learn. Despite facing challenges, they strive to master difficult math concepts and prepare for their futures. With your help, we can provide them with the tools they need to succeed.
