My students need an adaptor to connect our iPad to the Promethean board, materials to help improve our reading skills and read aloud books to help build a classroom community.
My fourth-grade class has 32 students in it. My students are eager to learn, enjoy school and are motivated to succeed. They love to use their imagination and grow as learners. We are a large school with over 1,000 students. We are a Title I school and all the students in my school all receive free breakfast and lunch. Many of the students in my school are English as Second Language learners. We have many different languages spoken in my school. My students come to school with big smiles and are ready to learn and achieve great things!
My Project
Help us to become better readers by helping us to project books from our iPad so the entire class can see them. With an adaptor, books on the iPad can be seen by the entire class and we can use them as a mentor text to improve our reading skills. We also will use our new read aloud books to help us learn about being kind to each other and as a model for our reading skills. The guided reading books will provide strategies to help struggling readers become better readers and writers.
Help us become amazing readers this year!
It is so important to have a strong foundation in literacy skills. Since reading and writing are used in all content areas.
