This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I got so lucky this year to have the best students in the world! They love coming to school and learning new things that interest them.

But let's face it, state testing is no one's favorite week of school.

As much as we try to tell the students to relax and it is just one test we also have to keep telling them how important this one test is and that if they don't do well there is a chance they won't go to the next grade.

Unfortunately, my students are going to have these nervous thoughts in the back of their heads during the testing week so I want to try to make the week as stress-free as possible!

I can do this by providing little things that I know will make them smile like fun pencils/erasers, fidgets, snacks, and notes to tell them how much I believe in them are just a few ideas!
