This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The scholars at my school are some of the most witty, resilient, hard-working, and loving kids. Over the years, I realized many of our classrooms are lacking the essentials to keep the classrooms clean, safe, and organized which result in the kids getting sick and missing days to stay home. We are a Title I school and service all underprivileged children, therefore we don’t get to ask our scholars to bring in school supplies from home. They rely on the supplies donated or teacher bought to use in the classroom such as essentials; tissues, hand sanitizer, soap to wash their hands. It is left up to the teacher to buy the supplies which can be unaffordable at times. Please help get these kids what they need to keep themselves sanitized, safe, healthy, and organized so they can focus on their learning and not miss vital days at school to stay home sick. Help me work towards closing that achievement gap by keeping the kids healthy and in school.
