My students need ten Chromebooks to get started in fully implementing blended learning in our classroom. This will get them ready for middle school and beyond.

My Students

As my students are preparing for middle school, I need to be able help that transition with an amazing experience. Some of my students do not have access to technology at home. This could be the year where they have access and are given an equal standing with other students.

The students in my class are a mix of students.

Access vs no access to technology. With this divide I am trying to make technology available for all students in my class. The students are eager to try new things as it relates to technology and their learning.

My Project

I will be teaching Math and Science. We need ten Chromebooks to get started in fully implementing blended learning in our classroom. This will get them ready for middle school and beyond. There are interactive activities that require each student to have access to a device. Students will also be receiving some of their learning through academic websites such as Discovery and other math and science related websites. Students will create presentations for Math and Science and will learn about different ways to use technology.

This donation will make a big difference in the lives of the students for a few reasons.

First students will have access to technology which will begin to prepare them for middle school. They will become independent learners as they tackle real world experiences as it relates to technology. Finally these donations will help to create a differentiated learning environment, where the needs of all students are met.
