This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In first grade we spent a lot of time learning on the carpet. Right now we use dot spots to help students know where to sit. I'm asking for a carpet so that students will have more space to learn as well as being a bit cozier.

How our classroom feels affects learning.

I want students to be excited to come to school every day! When they are on this carpet it will be clear what area is theirs and they will have room to spread out and focus. It will also add some much needed color to our room. I hope you will consider donating. We thank you in advance!
