My Project
Cardio Drumming mixes rhythm and aerobics in fun, engaging, and heart-pumping musical routines. Help me bring this highly adaptable fitness activity to life for my high school PE students. We have exercise balls and chairs to use as bases. The portable speaker that was generously funded by donors like you will provide our tunes. All we're missing are the drumsticks, a wireless headset mic to wear during instruction, and some tape to mark spaces on the floor.
Your donation will help my students reduce stress and anxiety, increase endurance and strength, and enhance coordination through creative exercises disguised as jam sessions!
Students will learn basic drumming skills like sticking and rudiments and practice aerobic movements like lunges, squats, and high knees. They will conclude their experience by creating a cardio drumming routine set to an upbeat song and lead their classmates in a workout.
