This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
COVID-19 has been rough on everyone but especially my 3rd graders. These kids have been so amazing this year with going with the flow and all of the changing Corona Virus rules but it is unfair that they still can't have a normal elementary school year.
All I want for my students everyday is for them to be happy, worry free and have everything they need while they are in my classroom!
I want to make sure the last few months of this school year are enjoyable and stress free for these kids. State testing is coming up and that makes things even more difficult for the students. Third grades should never have to stress out about taking a test that non educators force them to take. If students have fun school supplies or their favorite snacks this might make it a little more enjoyable.
My students are my everything and it is my job as a teacher for them to always know this whether it be giving them their favorite snack if they just can't wait until lunch, providing brand new school supplies when they don't have their own or a simple hug and encouraging note!
