This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Help us build a positive environment and a well managed center time.
Our school is 99% free and reduced lunch.
My students are largely EL (English Learners) with many coming into my kindergarten classroom speaking little to no English. EEEK! We start the year working on building our language skills all the while still learning our letters, numbers, and sounds!
My Project
I am asking for a set of books on social skills, which include things like: knowing the rules, sharing, talking it out, being kind, following directions, and listening to name a few. I am also requesting a center management chart so that our center time can flow smoothly.
