My students need tempura paints, crayons and scissors.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Zara's classroom raised $179
This project is fully funded
I teach some of our youngest learners in a kindergarten class in a public school in a high-need community.
Help us find our true colors! Early learners need many opportunities to explore and create. Especially, nowadays when there is so much focus on achievement and test-taking even with our youngest learners, we need to find a way to incorporate art and projects during our learning day. These art projects are a way not only to make learning fun, but to allow students to create and to explore their artistic talents. Children also need to begin to develop a love of school and learning at this age. Art projects help achieve this goal. Unfortunately, funding has been cut drastically in our school.
Therefore, we need paints, scissors, and people-colored crayons. Then, my students will be able to paint their favorite parts of the story, add details to their drawings, and use their imaginations to make creative masterpieces. We will also be able to do special projects for holidays with these new supplies, like jewelry boxes for Mother's Day.
You can help add more creativity and fun to the school experience for my little ones. You can help my little ones to love school and learning!
