This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a kindergarten teacher at a small inner city school in Los Angeles. We have limited resources for physical education education equipment for our young students. My students desperately need equipment for recess and physical education to keep them fit & healthy.

My young kindergarten students love coming to school everyday!

They live in a high poverty community and attend a public school. They are English language learners and are eager to learn. My student's parents are struggling to make ends meet and are unable to help purchase resources for our school.

My Project

The equipment I am requesting would be used by 100 kindergarten students everyday during recess and lunch play time. We have limited choices for our young students during this play time. The children would use the hoola hoops, jump ropes, balls, basketball hoop and swing & catch cups on a daily basis to improve their coordination and physical fitness.

Your generous donations will help purchase play equipment and would be shared with 100 Kindergarten students.

If this project were funded my students would enjoy playing outside, keeping them healthy and help them improve & develop their social skills through play.
