This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our Robotics and Technology Club has been doing some amazing work, but we're limited by the materials that we can recover. Our club is just getting started, but kids are already doing amazing work.

We have amazing, driven, intelligent young people at our school and a vibrant urban ecosystem for them to develop and understand.

This was a project that they researched, designed and built just to explore and understand. What they have made so far has been just incredible to me. I want to see what more they're capable of.

My Project

My students have taken old equipment and free software to make a truly incredible Augmented Reality Sandbox!

They have taken on the design, coding and the construction of an incredible interactive display that could become even more incredible if they had the right graphics card!

Unfortunately, the older laptop that they have made work for this project can't possibly run the complex graphics needed for animations - it has to have a dedicated card for it. Alienware has designed this drive that will work outside of a computer and it will take the already impressive display they've made and make it into an incredible interactive animated workstation for younger students!
