Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love teaching in an Integrated Classroom! What does that mean? There are children with and without disabilities and special needs working and learning together and from one another! My co-teacher and I are passionate about creating truly inclusive experiences for all of our students.

How can you help all students succeed?

By giving everyone what they need! Many neurodivergent students such as students with autism or ADHD benefit from weighted vests to help them feel calmer and focused in class. This will help EVERYONE in an ICT class! Students with Autism or ADHD will be able to focus on tasks in class, therefore, decreasing the times when they need to be redirected.
