My Project
It is so difficult to focus in class and be successful when one is feeling cold. It is hard to stay focused when you are chilly especially when you have come from a much warmer climate and are new to this country. Although they come in uniform pants and shirts, uniform sweatshirts are sometimes considered a luxury item and are not often included when back-to-school shopping.
Supplying our newcomer students with what they need will help them feel safe and warm while they are learning.
I am requesting gray t-shirts for all of my students. I want my students who sometimes don't have appropriate clothes to wear when temperatures drop to have the clothing they need. I don't want my students to have to worry about warmth so that they can focus on learning!
