My Students

My students are enthusiastic about pottery and enjoy creating works of their own. I teach pottery and art to high school students in a small rural school district in Georgia where 100% of the students receive free breakfast and lunch.

My students are excited about clay.

We just do not have the funds to offer them a variety of experiences that I would like. The supporters of DonorsChoose.org have been generous to us in the past and now we need your help to continue with our pottery.

My Project

When we started a new project, my students were unhappy that we are seriously low on tools. They are aware that DonorsChoose.org has helped us before and they asked me to list this project so that they can finish their projects with tools that do the job.

The new rolling pins and bats will help give a whole new look to their projects.

The fact that my students were excited enough about a project to ask for additional supplies excites me.

I often have to push them to make them quit working and get ready to leave class. These students have become passionate about their art work. Your support will allow my students to experience bringing a creative idea into reality.
