This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
What makes my students so special is their thirst for knowledge! I have the privilege of teaching these incredible young minds on a daily basis. I try make every aspect of the school day fun yet interesting.
My school is located in NYC, in a high poverty area.
The students in my classroom are mostly from homes where English is not the first language. Students often find it hard to get help with their homework because their parents aren't familiar with the language.
My Project
My classroom needs a small vacuum and dust buster to help keep our brand new classroom rug nice and clean and the help is stay looking great. We also need Clorox wipes to keep the germs away this winter. These items will ensure that everyone (including our teacher) stays nice and healthy this year.We know that this will be a great year if we keep our room clean. My students love coming to school and I want to make sure that they stay healthy so that they don't miss out on any of our important lessons or exiting projects that we do in 3rd grade!
