This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My soccer players are energetic, passionate learners who thrive on movement, teamwork, and active play. Many come from undeserved communities where access to safe, engaging sports equipment is limited. In the San Fernando Valley, soccer is more than just a game for them—it's a chance to build confidence, develop collaboration skills, and stay physically active in a fun, inclusive way.

Unfortunately, we currently don't have enough soccer balls for all students to participate during off-season.

With just a few worn-out balls, students often have to wait their turn or sit out, which limits both their engagement and development. With your support, I'm hoping to receive 20 durable soccer balls—enough for small group drills, full-team games, and inclusive team activities. This donation will directly support over 42 young girls, from grade levels 9-12, promoting fitness, teamwork, and positive peer interaction. These soccer balls will be used daily in our soccer program and our after-school soccer club.

Help give every girl in our program the chance to kick, run, and play—because every child deserves to be part of the beautiful game.
