My students need new basketball goals for our school. All grade levels and students will benefit from this. Our current goals are in terrible shape. The backboards are broken and the rims are bent over.

My Students
I teach at a magnet elementary school. We have a residential class per grade level that is compiled of the neighborhood students. We then have 2 classes per grade level that are gifted/high achieving students. These students must be tested to enter and must maintain certain grades in order to stay in the program. My students come from all over the county for our magnet program. I would like to help them achieve their highest potential in my classroom.
I want help to spruce up our outside recess area by adding new basketball goals.
Our current basket balls are falling over and they do not have a net for them. We have a great basketball area for our kids to play but our goals are lacking.
My Project
One area in our school that needs to be spruced up is our outside basketball area. Our current basketball goals are in really bad shape. The rims are broken and bend over. They are also missing the nets. The boys at our school love to play basketball and football. They recently received new basketballs and footballs from a previous grant. I would like to provide them an area that they can play basketball. Our whole school would benefit from this project, especially our upper grades. Please consider donating to help improve our area. I know many kids who would benefit from this and would be truly grateful.
