Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
THS is currently under construction. We have been very fortunate to have a new school being built, but it has come with setbacks. We currently do not have a field due to construction. We have had to travel off-campus every day for practice. I would like to get a couple of portable, easy to use pitching machines that can be used in doors! These pitching machines are used by college athletes and pros to help with batting. They use mini whiffle balls and can be used inside. This would allow us to improve our hitting and be able to stay here on campus especially when there is bad weather. This would also greatly improve our off season workouts with the ability to get many high quality reps in a short amount of time.
