Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students come from all over the world. Most of them played soccer in their home country. It can be a challenge for them to play here because they don't have cleats. Soccer is a great way for them to make friends and have fun. Soccer also brings students from different cultures together and creates cross cultural friendships, which promotes English leaning.
The lack of equipment can be a barrier that keeps students from a sport they enjoy and are capable of excelling at.
Please help us remove this barrier for them and help bring them joy with the requested soccer cleats!
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
