My Students

What I love about my students is everything! We are in a county with the highest number of families considered to be in poverty. Yet, these students come to school with hope. They come to school with a light inside them eager to learn. They are each a different little human, a different little soul, with different needs.

They have so many barriers, traumas, diagnoses, and now, COVID.

I need your help. Help our littles fill their bellies so that they can focus on learning and not an empty tummy.

My Project

Students are facing so many barriers to learn right now. One of them in our building is those students who maybe do not have the best morning routine and are often late. Then not only are they late! The miss breakfast!

For some this is their only meal they have had since, well maybe yesterday school lunch.

In our classroom we have a food pantry. This pantry is stocked by amazing individuals like you who never want to see a little human suffer. Someone like you who want little humans not matter their barriers to succeed.

In this project there are many snack option and some protein shakes. These will give the student the boost they need to hold over until lunch.

We are very lucky right now that the Dept of Ag has supplied all of our students free lunch

Sometimes students even take a snack home because they do not have much at home. Thank you for helping a little human shut off those tummy rumbles.
