My Project
Hello, my name is Mrs. Tidwell.
I am a 5th-year teacher at an elementary school in Texas.
It has been a true joy to teach the children in my community and watch them blossom year after year.
I’m currently working on growing our classroom library because I believe books are one of the most powerful tools we can offer students. Books help spark imagination, foster empathy, and improve comprehension. When children read regularly, they learn to make inferences, think critically, and explore the world through different perspectives.
In our classroom, books are more than just stories—they're stepping stones to deeper thinking and lifelong learning. My goal is to make them a daily part of our learning environment, used multiple times a day to build strong, curious minds.
