My Students

My students are courageous in the classroom! Despite the everyday challenges that some of these kids experience, they work hard to achieve their goals in school.

My students have grit!

They come to school ready to learn despite the challenges that they face on a daily basis. Science class is an opportunity to open doors for students, and to expose them to the countless opportunities available to them in the future!

I strive to create a school and classroom that is warm, engaging, and exciting for students!

My Project

Some concepts that we cover in Biology, Environment Science, and Chemistry are difficult for students to visualize in their heads. Some concepts are also hard to demonstrate using traditional labs. These materials will give students an opportunity to use hands-on learning strategies when learning about atoms, chemical properties, equations like photosynthesis and cellular respiration, chemical reactions, etc. All of these topics have applications in the real world and will help students as they continue their studies in the sciences- whether their goal is to better understand their health, or work in environmental protection!
