Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students love using special pens and pencils to engage in learning. I have seen students light up when provided with a cute, fun writing utensil or eraser. Even though the outcome would be the same as writing with a school-supplied pencil, their motivation and enthusiasm for engaging in writing is exponentially increased.
Students can enjoy a better learning experience when provided tools to make learning fun!
My goal is to use the mini writing journals so that students can write in their daily reflections and/or daily gratitude. They will write in their journals using the special pens and pencils! This will allow them a special place to write about their feelings and engage positively with one another.
