This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We have a strong literacy focus in our biology classroom. I have compiled many biology-related books at many reading levels for different interests. However, as extensive as our library is, we obviously cannot have every book in the classroom. Having a kindle will help give students access to books outside the classroom.
By supporting this project, you will give students access to an almost unlimited library of books to expand their knowledge.
Reading has and continues to open up new worlds and perspectives for me in my life. I would like to give that same experience to my students and foster a lifelong love of reading.
