My Project

I love how my first graders will be working to be proficient in their native language while also learning a second language. Children’s brains work better when they know more than one language. Being bilingual helps students keep a creative mind and helps them communicate their needs in more than one language. Emergent bilingual students need bilingual resources to reach their full capacity at such a young age. With your help, I can ensure that my emergent bilingual students have the resources they need to be successful bi-literate first graders!
