This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Please help my class as a first-year pre-k SPED teacher, get supplies for crafts, centers, and supplemental behavior reinforcements. We have a playground that desperately needs shade from the sun! This shade will help their well-being, as our classroom does not have AC and we would help our children stay cool. This will benefit, not just my class, but all pre-k classes now and in the future. Heat can be triggering for some of my students and would increase their quality of life at school having this shade for them outside!
