My Project
Student expectations get higher every year. Children need movement and hands on learning. Flexible seating, building toys, and board games are a great way to help them get their wiggles out and stimulate their brain. In my high ability classroom, we are always looking for ways to challenge students and encourage creative thinking through open ended manipulatives such as blocks, magnet tiles, etc.
My students love utilizing the few wobble stools that we have currently in the classroom, so I would love to add more options so that more students can have a choice of seating while doing their work.
The manipulatives and board games will be used for inside recess and fun Friday which is free time that students earn by working hard all week.
My class works so hard everyday and I am so proud of them! I would love to surprise them with these additions to our classroom!
