Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These snacks will help hungry students get through the school day, allowing them to be more alert and engaged in class. Students will have access to these snacks in the guidance office which encourages students to come to the office and interact with the counselors and social workers.
With this project we hope to provide some sustenance for our students and create an inviting environment.
This is another way that we can be a resource for our kids and encourage students to check out the resources that are available to them.
Our students are hardworking and passionate. They show up to school and put their best foot forward. Many of our students juggle multiple responsibilities, whether it be work or helping out their families, and have big goals for their future. This project is just a small aspect of what we can do to help them get there.
