My Students

My 3rd graders are bright, inquisitive, and tender-hearted. They are thoroughly enjoying being in the classroom after two years of online, homeschool, and hybrid learning. Because these children were in first grade during the beginning stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, they have missed critical literacy skills.

With your help, I can fill in the gaps the coronavirus pandemic has caused in my students' learning.

These kids were dealt a bad hand, it is not anyone's fault they are behind. It is just what happened because the world was trying to navigate uncharted waters. We can create life-long learners together; these tools are the first step. I have no doubt that we can help these kids get to where they need to be to meet grade-level standards by the end of the year.

My Project

Students learn best when they are having fun! At the beginning of each day, I have aids that assist with small group language arts activities. This helps my students get more individualized lessons that fit their current needs. There has been more material to cover than ever before because of the COVID-19 pandemic. My students are determined to understand what they are learning, but it isn't always easy.

Hands-on activities help students apply content in a fun way!

These games have been designed so that students enjoy learning and can see the material in a way that suits their learning style. We all learn in a different way and games are a great way to meet the needs of those who learn best visually and kinesthetically. With your help, we can help these children understand the content that will help them succeed throughout their lives!
