My students need 25 Pro Source stability discs to help them with focus, to improve academic performance, and to reach their full potential inside the classroom.

My Students

Imagine a class full of 2nd grade boys sitting completely still. Can you? Boys need to move! What better way to move than have seating that can move with you, but help you keep engaged in the lesson or independent work you are doing.

Our class of 2nd grade boys from Northwest Arkansas loves to move!

We are constantly moving in the classroom. Movement is very important for all young students, but especially boys. Research shows us that boys at this age can actively engage for 7 minutes without movement. After that, their brain begins to move into what we like to call "sleep mode".

My Project

Currently we have 2 stability discs (like the ones requested), 6 stability balls, and 3 stability stools. We did have more, but after years of use these items are wearing down and breaking fast. Stability discs are more manageable for students, and can be easily moved from their seats to the carpet. They are also more durable and cheaper than stability balls. My students will use these stability discs throughout the day, every day.

Your donation to this project will help replace the stability seating that is quickly deteriorating in our classroom, and will provide stability seating for everyone in the classroom.
