Help me give my students books created by the authors and illustrators they'll have the chance to meet in person in October.

My Students
One of my most favorite events of the year is the annual Rhode Island Festival of Children's Books and Authors in Providence.
I want to share books created by the festival's featured speakers with my students, so they get pumped about the event and hopefully attend with their families.
It's always a thrill for me to run into kids I know in line for book signings or waiting for a presentation to start. More importantly, it's a thrill for them to meet authors and illustrators in person.
My Project
To inspire the students and their families to drive to Providence and spend Saturday hours at the festival, I need more copies of books by the creators who will be there. I've already read many of the titles I'm requesting and can check them out of the public library for my readalouds, but we don't have all of them in our libraries.
I really want to be able to hand a student a book I've just read and they've just fallen in love with.
I want them to take it home and tell their families that they just HAVE to meet the creator!
I’ve chosen books by Angela DiTerlizzi for our Mock Caldecott the past couple of years; primary students are bananas over James Dean’s “Pete the Cat” series; and Lynda Mullaly Hunt’s Shouting at the Rain is a Newbery contender. My enthusiasm for the books on this list will transfer to my students. Help keep the momentum going by helping us add them to our collections!
