This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a dedicated ROP Medical Technology instructor, I strive to provide my students with hands-on learning experiences that will prepare them for careers in the healthcare field. One of the most fundamental skills they need to master is measuring vital signs, which includes listening to heartbeats and lung sounds with a stethoscope.
Unfortunately, our classroom does not have enough stethoscopes for each student to practice effectively.
By donating to this project, you will help equip my students with the tools they need to develop critical skills in patient assessment. Your support will ensure that every student gets the opportunity to practice taking accurate vital signs, fostering their confidence and competence in real-world healthcare settings.
What We Need: We are seeking funding for 30 high-quality stethoscopes to allow all students to actively participate in hands-on learning. These stethoscopes will be used daily in our classroom and during community classroom experiences where students engage in real-world healthcare training.
