This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at a public school located in Camden, NJ which has a focus on medicine, dentistry, nursing, and other healthcare areas. As both a Chemistry and Physics teacher, I strive to provide my students with all of the tools necessary to be successful. However, sometimes we need a little outside help. Therefore we're asking for donations to help pay for the extra materials necessary to compete in this year's district science fair.
The proceeds from this fundraiser will directly help all of my Chemistry students brainstorm, design, and construct innovative science fair exhibits.
My Project
This year, for our district science fair, my students must choose a topic that has water as its primary focus. Students will compete with other 11th graders from throughout the Camden City School District with winners from each grade level moving onto the prestigious Coriell Institute Science Fair at the end of the school year.
This is one of the most exciting projects of the school year; however, our classroom needs some extra supplies in order to complete.
