Help Fund Fernwood’s Care Closet

Help me give my students some essential items to fill Fernwood’s Care Closet which will supply clothing and toiletries to any student in need!

My Project

This project will help to support an important initiative we are implementing at Fernwood Avenue Middle School. The Fernwood Care Closet Team is creating discreet spaces where students can access clothing and toiletries without worry. With our diverse population in EHT, we recognize that some families may face challenges such as limited time to do laundry or the inability to afford new clothing and toiletries. Even situations like a student needing a new pair of pants after an accident can be concerning.

We want to ensure that all our students feel secure and have their basic needs met so they can come to school ready to learn!

Items like water bottles, leggings, deodorant, and clean undergarments should not be a primary concern for any child. Middle School can be a challenging time filled with social dynamics and increased independence. With your support, we hope to alleviate these worries, allowing our students to focus on their academics and their journey toward becoming responsible adults.
