Help Fourth Graders Build a Positive Class Community!
Help me give my students creative materials such as tie-dye kits for our masks, diy craft kits and friendship bracelet supplies to build our classroom community!!
I teach fourth grade at a Title I school located in Central Florida. 98% of students at my school are eligible for free/reduced price lunches. I teach math and science to a total of 48 students. Our students come from a variety of social, behavioral, and emotional backgrounds.
With all of the changes the students have endured this year, we need a positive class community more than ever!
This project will enable them a fun opportunity to work together and get creative! My students are eager to learn. This project will provide an engaging way for them to learn about civics in the classroom.
My Project
This project will provide materials for my fourth graders to build a positive class community of learners. My students will get the opportunity to work together towards a goal, being creative and having fun!
Participating in projects as a group will help increase our social skills, get to know one another and learn how to help each other to fulfill a shared vision.
The friendship bracelet supplies, do it yourself ornament kit, tie-dye kit for our masks, pencil bags and fabric markers will be used to help my students build a positive class community. School this year has been much different than years past, due to Covid 19. This project will give my students an opportunity to put aside their classwork, and enjoy a fun creative time of getting to know each other and building community. We have
